Registration

The Master course in Urban Design is open to a limited number of students, and selection is made on the basis of the documentation requested for registration. In order to apply, send the following documents to Domus Academy (by fax or email) by October 3: application form, curriculum vitæ, a letter of motivation and original certificates of courses attended. A fluent english knowledge is required

Scholarships and competition

A number of scholarships, offered by the institutions which support the course, are available to fully or partially cover the registration fees. The scholarships will be awarded by the Educational Board, and their decision will be unquestionable. Applications, together with the documents necessary to register, must be sent to Domus Academy before October 30. Every year, the Urban Management and Architectural Design Department organizes international competitions in collaboration with prestigious partners.

Cost of registration and methods of payment

The tuition fee for EU citizens is 13.000,00 Euro + 20% VAT. For non-EU citizens the tuition fee is 17.000,00 Euro + 20% VAT.

Course schedule

The course lasts one year and it is held from January to December, with a break in the month of August. It consists of two semesters: the first from January till July, the second from September till December; the second semester closes with the Master's projects dissertation and the exhibition. The course is held in Domus Academy's premises of via Watt 27, Milan. The didactic activity normally takes place from Monday afternoons to Friday mornings inclusive, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Attendance is mandatory. During the first months of course, lectures are translated simultaneously into English. Foreign students can participate in an Italian course held at the school premises during hours that do not interfere with the Master Course schedule. The Italian courses is at student's charge.
