The cities are becoming the workshop for this epoch-making changes, which are the result of trends and thrusts that will not decrease in this new century. These will be the places where lots of problems will arise, but also where solutions can be found. The analysis of such a urban phenomenon and its transformations represents one of the most important intellectual challenges. Urban transformation processes and the way economic, human, social and environmental resources are used call for more and more complex competences and a cooperation between different actors which is not easily practicable nowadays.

The Master Philosophy

The final goal is to provide an adequate training to professionals playing a role in decision making processes concerning urban transformation and development.
